Frequently Asked Questions

Is my credit card info safe?

Yes! Online purchases are heavily encrypted to protect the purchaser and the seller. All transactions are encrypted with a secure 128 bit key. No card numbers are ever stored or kept on the server.

When will I receive my tickets in the mail?

Ticketscene does not issue paper tickets. Upon approval of the transaction, an e-mail will be sent to the supplied address with a letter of confirmation that has to be brought to the show to obtain entry. The recipient of the e-tickets is required to show photo identification to the door staff. Please check spam folder for the email.

I haven't received a confirmation email.

One of three things has happened.
1) It somehow ended up in your junk mail (a regular problem for hotmail users).
2) You did not complete the transaction.
3) Your transaction was denied by your credit card company.

What do I need to bring get in to the event?

After your ticket purchase has been completed, you will be presented with a screen to print/download your e-tickets. You must print your e-tickets, and bring them to the show to obtain entry. The e-ticket holder may be required to show photo identification to the door staff. If you did not print your tickets at the time of purchase, you may log-in to your ticketscene account to obtain your e-tickets.

I forgot to enter a discount code, can I still receive a discount on my order?

Discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase and cannot be applied afterwards. Once an order has been placed we can not change it. Please make sure to enter any discount code on the cart page.

When do "x" tickets go on sale?

On sale dates are determined by the promotion company and has nothing to do with Ticketscene or its employees.

I can't make it to the show/I bought too many tickets/I didn't make it to the show…can I get my money back?

All sales through Ticketscene are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Can I purchase tickets for someone else?

Yes. When adding tickets to your cart you will be promted to enter a name on the tickets. They will need to bring their printed e-ticket to the show, and may be asked to present photo identification to obtain entry.

I bought tickets for someone who doesn't have a driver's license. Will you accept other forms of photo identification?

Ticketscene does not control entry to the event. Health cards, student cards, age of majority cards and other photo identification may be sufficient to obtain the tickets with a copy of the letter of confirmation.

I bought several tickets, but my friends can't go at the same time as I can. Can I split up the tickets so they can get in?

It is impossible for Ticketscene to answer that question, as we do not control entry to the event. That decision is up to the company running the event. We suggest contacting them with that question as it is at their own discretion.

What happens if a show gets cancelled?

In the event of a cancellation, you will be refunded the full price of the tickets purchased. However, the service/processing fees will not be refunded.

A show I bought tickets for was rescheduled, can I keep my tickets or will a refund be issued?

In the event of a rescheduling the tickets will automatically be transfered to the new event. However an e-mail will be sent out to all purchasers offering them the option of a refund for the full price of the tickets purchased. However, the service/processing fees will not be refunded. Refunds must be requested at least 72 hours prior to the rescheduled event start time.

What are the set times for "x" show?

Ticketscene is only an online retail outlet for tickets. We have no information on details of the event aside from what is listed by the promoter.

All the tickets for "x" show are sold out. Does that mean the show is sold out?

Ticketscene is issued an amount of tickets to sell by the promotion company. In almost every case there will be at least one other outlet selling tickets. When TicketScene is sold out it is best to contact the promotion company about the availability of tickets from other outlets.

Will you guys be getting more tickets?

That decision is up to the promotion company and how many tickets are still available for the event. It is impossible to say what will happen after TicketScene is sold out.
